Pakistani truck artist painted George Floyd in his home in memory

A truck artist from Karachi, Haider Ali painted a portrait of George Floyd who was a 46-year-old Black man murdered by police officers in Minneapolis, Minnesota who was arrested on the charges of using counterfeit bills. His death started the Black Lives Matter protest all around the globe.
The mural is painted on one of the walls in his home in the memory of Floyd’s memory. Made in traditional Pakistani truck art style, it’s accompanied by slogans “Hum kaalay hai to kya hua,dilwale hain (So what if we are dark skinned? We’ve got big hearted) and Goron kin a kaalon ki dunya hai di walon ki (This world doesn’t belong to white or black people it belongs to the one with heart).
He added “Black is an essential color of this universe, it’s due to the black color of the sky that we are able to see the starts. Every artist in the world realizes the importance and beauty of the black color. Allah Almighty has made every hum equal. Islam too discourages all kinds of racism.”
