Landfall: By Thursday night, it is expected that the “very severe cyclonic storm” would touch down between Karachi in southern Pakistan and Mandvi in the western Indian state of Gujarat.

Current location: According to India’s meteorology office, as of Thursday morning, the storm’s core was around 180 km (112 miles) west-southwest of Jakhau Port in Gujarat and 270 km (168 miles) south-southwest of Karachi.
