Fans of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, the much-awaited MCU series, are flocking to Twitter to discuss the show following the premiere of its first episode. The big revelation of Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, or She-Hulk, has set expectations high for the series, created by Jessica Gao and directed by Kat Coiro, to introduce additional members of the Hulk family into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Alongside Maslany, the show features Ginger Gonzaga as Walter’s closest friend Nikki Ramos and, most eagerly, brings back Bruce Banner, aka The Hulk, with Mark Ruffalo returning to an MCU production. Fans of the original Six Avengers have eagerly awaited a reunion of the founding cast, and Ruffalo’s return to mentor his cousin in the series offers an intriguing reunion. The official series synopsis states, “Jennifer Walters leads a complicated life as a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green, 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.”
Fans on Twitter seem to view the series as a huge success. The calibre of the series has recently surprised fans, as Marvel has shone a light on the less well-known superheroes.
