In front of his family and friends, Ben Affleck married Jennifer Lopez for the second time in Georgia, but there was one important component missing from the celebration: the mix. Affleck’s ex-wife Jennifer Garner reportedly skipped the wedding in favor of having a wild time at Sam’s Club.
According to TMZ via Page Six, the former Mrs. Affleck visited the South Charleston, West Virginia-based company on Saturday just before 4 p.m. She was grinning. In pictures from the retailer, Garner, 50, is seen sporting shoes, striped linen pants, and a blue t-shirt for a laid-back look. She seemed to be going on the outing with both her father and her business partner, John Miller. At one point, she even paused to pose for a photo with a fan. Garner was out shopping about the time that Bennifer 2.0’s second wedding celebrations started in Savannah, Georgia.
On his opulent Georgia estate, Garner’s children, Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10, were all present to witness their father’s remarriage to the Marry Me actress. Rumors circulated earlier that Garner would not be attending the ceremony due to scheduling conflicts. Their rehearsal dinner on Friday night marked the beginning of their three-day intimate celebration with family and friends, which will end on Sunday with a barbecue picnic. But when the jubilation was momentarily dampened, the Deep Water star’s mother had to be brought to the hospital because she had cut her leg.
According to earlier reports, Affleck and Lopez enlisted the services of renowned life coach and spiritual podcaster Jay Shetty to officiate their second marriage, and they brought in lavish event designer Colin Cowie to create the ceremony and celebration of their dreams.
