The much-awaited wedding ceremony of the 31-year-old “Bachelor in Paradise” bartender took place over the weekend, as confirmed by uploads from Sarah Hyland’s “Modern Family” co-stars. The pandemic had interfered with the couple’s plans to marry in 2020, which was their initial goal.
In California on Saturday, vows were exchanged between Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams after more than three years of courtship. The 31-year-old actress and the 38-year-old “Bachelorette” star finally walked down the aisle over the weekend, despite having to reschedule their special day twice. Among the attendees at the low-key nuptials were Hyland’s co-stars Sofia Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Julie Bowen, and Nolan Gould. Posts from relatives at the star-studded wedding in a California vineyard on social media suggest that Vergara was accompanied by her 30-year-old son, Manolo Gonzalez, as her date. Meanwhile, Ferguson was joined by his spouse, Justin Mikita.
“Happy days! Simply said, yay.” In what appeared to be a pre-wedding celebration, a picture of herself with Gould and Ferguson was shared by Bowen on social media, captioning it, “I love my fake family.” Hyland, who rose to fame as Haley Dunphy in the ABC sitcom “Modern Family,” began dating the “Bachelor in Paradise” bartender in October 2017. After he had finally proposed in July 2019, the pair were set to exchange vows in August 2020; however, the COVID-19 epidemic caused a delay in their wedding.
