Before the first wave of monsoon rains finally reaches the town on Friday, the weather in the port city is predicted to be partly overcast, according to the Met Department.
In the meanwhile, an increase in temperature to 37°C is anticipated in the evening, accompanied by an atmospheric humidity of 65%.
According to PMD’s most recent weather report, Karachi will likely have a hot and muggy day with the possibility of showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night.
On Saturday, July 8, similar conditions are predicted with higher possibilities of rain at any time of the day.
Sindh’s weather forecast
According to the Met Department, starting today, the monsoon currents are expected to reach eastern and northwest Sindh and eventually sweep over the whole state.
From this evening till July 9, sporadic breaks, dust, and thunderstorms with rain are predicted in a number of locations, including Dadu, Jamshoro, Kambar Shahdadkot, Jacobabad, Larkana, Shikarpur, Tharparker, and Umerkot districts.
Meanwhile, in Larkana, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Ghotki, Sukkur, and Khairpur, there was dust and a thunderstorm along with sporadic heavy rainfall.
With sporadic breaks, Naushahro Feroz districts are anticipated from July 7-9.
Shaheed Benazirabad, Matiari, Hyderabad, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Sanghar, Mirpurkhas, Badin, Thatta, Sujawal districts, and Karachi division may be affected by this monsoon rain spell with dust-thunderstorm and isolated heavy rainfall from July 7–9, with sporadic pauses.
