Priyanka Chopra goes ‘bravo’ as her NYC restaurant Sona gets Michelin’s recognition

When Priyanka Chopra opened her Indian restaurant “Sona” in New York last year, she put yet another feather to her crown. In the year after the restaurant debuted, celebrities like Sophie Turner, Mindy Kaling, Vicky Kaushal, Farhan Akhtar, and even Katrina Kaif have eaten there. Sona serves the tastiest Indian meals with a modern twist, specializing in reinterpreted Indian cuisine. Recently, Priyanka Chopra announced on social media that her New York City eatery Sona has received a Michelin star, and the actress is overjoyed!

Priyanka Chopra announced on her Instagram story that Sona is one of the thirty new restaurants in New York City that will be included in the renowned Michelin Guide. Sona is on the list of 30 new restaurants in New York City that are up for honors this year, as revealed by Michelin on Tuesday! The fact that Sona made the list is a feat in and of itself, even if it doesn’t ensure that the eateries will get a star rating.

Priyanka Chopra posted on Instagram, saying, “Bravo, @sonanewyork!” She said, “We’re starting the week strong with Michelin’s recognition,” accompanied with an emoji of clapping hands, to further convey her delight. Check out her tale on Instagram below.

Priyanka Chopra posted a photo from Sona’s premiere day in March of last year. She had posted a couple images of the eatery along with the caption, “#SonaNewYork is opening today! I can’t wait to greet you all and give you the opportunity to taste classic India right in the middle of New York City. What began as a simple desire for delicious Indian cuisine has turned into this labor of love.

Regarding her career, Priyanka Chopra’s next projects include the espionage thriller series Citadel, Ending Things, It’s All Coming Back To Me, and Jee Le Zara by Farhan Akhtar, which also features Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
