She mentioned that Anil might be apprehensive about becoming a grandfather, highlighting his emotional response upon hearing the news. Despite not considering himself ready for grandparenthood—or even parenthood initially—Anil’s unexpected spiritual moment in Chandigarh, where he expressed a desire for a grandchild, surprised Sonam and her mother.
Sonam also reflected on her father’s supportive nature, emphasizing his focus on her and her sister’s careers over personal milestones like marriage. “He always encouraged me to settle down whenever I felt ready,” she said.
