The creators of the gritty thriller Cuttputlli, starring Akshay Kumar and Rakul Preet Singh, released the trailer on social media following the release of the fascinating teaser. In the teaser, Akshay plays a police officer pursuing a serial murderer who has killed three schoolgirls and is searching Kasauli, a little hill station, for his next victim. In two days, Akshay and his police squad must find him and put an end to the killings.

Rakul Preet Singh is also observed contributing to the quest in her own unique manner.

This is Ranjit M. Tewari’s second collaboration with Akshay as director. Bell Bottom, the movie in which they costarred, was a box office success. The grim tale in Cuttputlli, which was filmed in Mussoorie, is sure to have you on the edge of your seat. Ratsasan, a movie from the South, is being remade in Hindi. Instead of a theatre release, the movie is slated for an OTT director release. On September 2, 2022, Disney+Hotstar will broadcast it.
