Cyclone Biparjoy slowed down, won’t make landfall before nightfall in Pakistan: minister

According to the ministry, User Cyclone has “slowed down,” but its core is still “intense.”
Biparjoy is located 235 kilometers south of Thatta and 230 km south of Karachi.

It is presently the cyclone in the Arabian Sea with the longest lifespan.
ISLAMABAD: Senator Sherry Rehman, the federal minister for climate change and environmental coordination, stated on Thursday that storm Biparjoy had “slowed down” and would no longer make landfall before dusk.

The federal minister stated that it was previously anticipated that the hurricane will impact the beach around 11:00 am while speaking at a press conference in the federal capital.

However, because of the 6-7 km/h slowdown in speed, the projected time of landfall has been postponed, and it will now impact the coastlines after nightfall.
