Trophy for PSL season nine revealed in Lahore

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Tuesday that the trophy for the ninth Pakistan Super League (PSL) edition was unveiled at the Polo Ground of Race Course Park in Lahore.

According to a press release from the board, prominent cricket players, franchise owners, HBL executives, and PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi attended the ceremony.

The text stated that the trophy for this year was known as the “Orion Trophy” and that it was composed of pure silver with a white gold coating.

According to Naqvi, the competition “continues to be a success story for Pakistan cricket,” according to the press release.

“We look forward to a month-long celebration of the beautiful game of cricket and the excitement and drama that accompanies it today as we unveil this Orion trophy,” he said.

“May the best team lift this prestigious trophy,” he added, wishing all the teams luck in the competition.

Salman Iqbal, the owner of the Karachi Kings, stated in the press release that his team was prepared to “turn the tables” in this competition with their “breathtaking performances.”
